Contact Wildcrest Journal

One address, one or two business days, and the details that let us answer your route question properly the first time.

Mail to Wildcrest Journal reaches one shared inbox at hello@wildcrestblog.com, and a person answers within two business days, usually the writer whose corner of the map your question falls in. Corrections jump ahead of everything else in that queue.

What to include

For a route question: the guide you are reading, your dates, and where you are starting from. For a correction: the page, the line that is wrong, and what you saw with your own eyes. A photograph of a timetable or a price sign is worth more than a description, and it speeds the reply up more than anything else.

Before you write

  • Route questions: answered in arrival order, two business days is normal, four around holidays.
  • Corrections: verified against the operator before the page changes, then credited at the foot of the guide.
  • Collaborations: considered, but the journal does not run paid placements inside route pages.

What happens after you send

The first reply usually settles it: the transfer, the price as it was paid, the hour the last service leaves. If something has to be checked with an operator, we will say how long that takes rather than leaving your message unanswered. A question about a guide we have not walked ourselves gets an honest "we do not know" instead of a guess assembled from other people's pages, and we will tell you who is more likely to have the answer.

If your question is about working with us, put collaboration in the subject line so it lands in the right thread on the first pass. Everything else can go in the body of the message.
